Watamu Safari Blue

Pickup from your Watamu hotel; transfer to Watamu Beach. Board a glass-bottom boat, meet your guides, and set out across the turquoise waters.

Stop inside Watamu Marine Park and Reserve for snorkeling in the colorful coral gardens. Guides provide snorkeling gear and assist all skill levels.

Continue sailing outside the reef in search of dolphins (Mid October April), turtles. The glass-bottom boat offers excellent viewing for non swimmers.

Disembark at Mida Creek for a guided boardwalk tour along the mangroves, with an educational talk about the importance and endangered status of mangrove ecosystems.

From Mida Creek, embark on a canoe ride through the mangrove channels to serene Green Island, an important protected marine area.

Arrive at Green Island or a similar island where you can relax and enjoy a seafood lunch including lobster, fish, and coconut rice, with vegetarian options upon request.

After lunch and some island relaxation, leave Green Island by boat heading to the famous Crab Shack in Dabasso for a unique local cultural and dining experience.

Sail back to Watamu, transfer back to your hotel arranged.
