How many guests can travel?
Capacity depends on the aircraft selected, passenger weights, baggage, elevation, temperature and route. Belair will recommend the most suitable aircraft configuration once the passenger details and itinerary are known.
What luggage can I bring?
Helicopter baggage allowances are more restrictive than commercial airline allowances and soft-sided bags are strongly preferred. Final limits are confirmed for the specific aircraft and passenger payload.
Can we land anywhere?
No. Landings depend on safety, landowner or conservancy permission, aviation regulations, environmental considerations and local conditions. Belair will only include landing points approved by the operating aviation partner and the relevant authorities or land managers.
Can the route change because of weather?
Yes. Safety comes first. Weather, visibility, wind, technical considerations and other operational factors may require changes to departure time, routing or landing points.
Are park, conservation, community and landing fees included?
These vary by route and destination. Your quotation will specify which fees are included and which, if any, are payable separately.
Can a helicopter transfer replace a road or scheduled flight?
Often, yes. Private helicopter transfers are particularly useful where the guest values privacy, time, flexibility or a more scenic connection between safari regions. Suitability depends on the exact itinerary.
