Nights 3-4: Sibiloi National Park
KWS Alia Bay Guest House
Recommended for authenticity and location. KWS lists a main house plus annex sleeping up to 10 guests, with kitchen, bedding, towels, solar/generator lighting and self-catering facilities. Current published non-resident rate: USD 220 per house per night.
Night 5: Lodwar
Stegra Hotel
Practical final-night option close to Lodwar Airport, with restaurant, breakfast and swimming pool. Recent public pricing has been around USD 99-100 per room/night; final dates must be checked before confirmation.
Itinerary
Day 1 - Nairobi to Lodwar and Lake Turkana
Morning scheduled flight Nairobi to Lodwar. Meet the expedition team and transfer by 4x4 toward Kalokol / the western Lake Turkana shore. Afternoon at leisure and sunset over the Jade Sea.
Day 2 - Central Island National Park
Private boat excursion to Central Island for volcanic crater landscapes, crocodile habitat, birding and photography. Return to the western shore.
Day 3 - Lake crossing to Sibiloi
Private expedition boat toward Alia Bay. Meet the Sibiloi-side 4x4 team and begin exploration of Sibiloi National Park.
Day 4 - Koobi Fora and the Cradle of Humankind
Full-day expedition to Koobi Fora, fossil and archaeological landscapes, petrified forest sector and desert wildlife. Specialist interpretation recommended.
Day 5 - Sibiloi to Lodwar
Morning exploration, boat transfer back toward the western shore, meet the Lodwar-side vehicle and return to Lodwar. Overnight at Stegra Hotel.
Day 6 - Lodwar to Nairobi
Breakfast, transfer to Lodwar Airport and scheduled flight to Nairobi.
