Itinerary
Day 1 – Karen, Nairobi
Arrive in Nairobi and settle into Karen Blixen Coffee Garden & Cottages. Enjoy the tranquil gardens and historic atmosphere of Karen, one of Nairobi's most distinctive neighbourhoods. Overnight at Karen Blixen Coffee Garden & Cottages.
Day 2 – The Karen Blixen Story
After breakfast, visit the Karen Blixen Museum and discover the story of the Baroness, her years in Kenya and the former coffee estate. The remainder of the day is relaxed, with time to enjoy Karen and its surroundings. Overnight at Karen Blixen Coffee Garden & Cottages.
Day 3 – Karen to Wilson Airport | Fly to the Maasai Mara
After breakfast, transfer privately to Wilson Airport and board a scheduled light-aircraft flight to the Maasai Mara. On arrival, meet the Karen Blixen Camp team for the transfer to camp. Enjoy an afternoon game drive in Mara North Conservancy, followed by dinner and overnight.
Day 4 – Mara North Conservancy
Spend the day exploring Mara North Conservancy, renowned for excellent wildlife viewing and a quieter safari atmosphere. Your stay includes shared game drives, selected beverages, a night game drive, guided camp eco walk, one bush breakfast and return Mara airstrip transfers.
Day 5 – Maasai Mara National Reserve
Enjoy a dedicated safari day in the Maasai Mara National Reserve, giving you a classic Mara experience alongside the exclusivity of Mara North. Return to Karen Blixen Camp for your final evening in the wilderness.
Day 6 – Mara to Wilson Airport | JKIA
Enjoy a final morning in the Mara before transferring to the airstrip for your scheduled light-aircraft flight back to Wilson Airport. On arrival, continue by private transfer to JKIA for your onward journey.
