3 Days Gorilla Tour

Our guide will pick you at your hotel after breakfast, and then drive southwest to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park. Have a stopover for some informative talk and a splendid photographic opportunity at the Equator and then continue to Mbarara town for lunch. Travel through the rolling green hills of banana and tea plantations and head to the National Park. Dinner and overnight at Bakiga Lodge / Ride 4 woman.

Early morning, after breakfast with your packed lunch, you will report to the Park headquarters for a briefing from the park officials. You will trek through thick creepers and undergrowth with your guides to find the gorillas, which can take you half an hour to three quarters of the day. The steeply forested landscape is incredibly dense but crisscrossed by numerous animal trails allowing access to tourists. One hour is allowed with the gorillas for photography and observation as they play, feed and groom.
After the trekking, you will drive to Lake Bunyonyi where you will have a relaxed afternoon. You may take a boat ride on the deepest lake in Uganda or do a community visit. Your lunch, dinner and overnight stay will be at Bunyonyi Overland Resort.

After breakfast, you will drive to Kigali with lunch en-route. Depending on your flight schedule, you will do a Kigali city tour. Drop off will be at the airport or hotel.
