Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival and Stone Town
Arrive at Zanzibar Airport and transfer to Stone Town for check-in at a mid-range guesthouse. Take a guided walking tour through UNESCO Stone Town: explore Darajani Market for spices, House of Wonders, and Old Fort; end with sunset at Forodhani Gardens tasting seafood skewers.
Day 2: Spice Tour & Beach Transfer
Morning spice farm tour at Kizimbani—sample cloves, nutmeg, and cardamom plantations with a traditional Swahili lunch. Afternoon transfer north to Nungwi or Matemwe beach lodge for check-in amid white sands and turquoise waters.
Day 3: Jozani Forest & Dolphin Safari
Visit Jozani Chwaka Bay National Park for red colobus monkeys and mangrove boardwalks—a mini wildlife "safari." Afternoon dhow boat dolphin spotting and snorkelling in Mnemba Atoll reefs.
Day 4: Beach Relaxation & Snorkeling
Full beach day with optional PADI snorkeling at coral reefs, kayaking, or spa massage using coconut oils. Evening beach barbecue with fresh lobster and Swahili music.
Day 5: Prison Island and Cultural Dinner
Boat to Prison Island (Changuu) for giant Aldabra tortoises and starfish pools. Return for taarab music dinner show and village cultural immersion with henna art.
Day 6: Departure
Morning free for souvenir shopping (spices, kitenge fabrics) or final swim. Airport transfer.
